Phillip K. Dick

PKD died at the age of 53 in Santa Ana California

in 1962 he won a Hugo award for "The Man in the High Castle"in 1974 he won a John W. Campbell Memorial award for "Flow My Tears the Policeman Said"

He never lived to see "Blade Runner"

One of my favorite lines by Dick is from "TotalRecall" When the guy is trying to convince Arnold S. that it's all a dream he said "Just remember I'm not here and neither are you"

His stories and books have been tranlated into 19 foreign languages and published in 26 foreign countries. At last count 214 foreign language book editions and 205 foreign language story appearances.
